oi! been a minute. my computer had some sort of meltdown while my boyfriend was using it and was in the shop for like 3 weeks. who knows what was wrong with it but it works now so here i am! i have a bunch of shit i have posted here and there on my instagram but haven't posted on the blahg! this little festive getup is one of them. i fuckingggg love this casual little 2 piece. i didn't think of myself as someone who would wear a star 2 piece set but i guess i hadn't ever seen a cute star 2 piece set until i laid my eyes on this little lenni number. and now i'm wondering what other matching 2 piece sets i can get my hands on…….i'll be back super soon like monday soon k love you bye.

i love me a shapeless dress. whether its a maxi, or a your-buttcheeks-are-popping-out mini, i just love a muumuu. no pressure to watch what your eating or worry about sucking your stomach in all day (unless you have a naturally flat stomach in which case i hate you.) i've had a serious love affair with this dress since i got it cause it has all the elements i just mentioned, plus its sheer. and has a low neck. and pockets. and a slit. that my friends, is what we call a perfect dress. i wore this all white outfit to an all day meeting (yes, those exist) and i drank coffee, iced tea, and ate a variety of messy foods in this bad boy and SO UNLIKE ME i did not drop a SINGLE anything on the jacket or the dress. call it a christmas miracle if you will, cause i sure did. lord knows every time i take things to the dry cleaner every damn thing has a "oops, sorry we can't get this stain out" tag on it. argh.

still on the blahg-ing train, as promised! shocked that i am actually following through with my promise?! me too! ok ok so its monday, which blows, but thanksgiving is coming in hot which really makes me happy cause i get a bunch of days off to do my most favoritest thing-----eat! and while we are on the topic of eating, lets talk about how much i love this baby doll dress cause i can eat 7,000 burgers and no one is gonna know what's going on under here. and it has a bell sleeve, which i am always down for. and hells yes to the fact that you can kinda sorta wear a jacket in l.a. right now. 70 degrees whatever i will take it! i'm desperate! ok gotta go back to work but i will see you here same time next week! xx

white tees, please!

it's time. time that i address the age old question of "WHERE DID YOU GET THAT LOW CUT WHITE TEE?!?!?!" i try to answer every question and i tag what i'm wearing on instagram, but i felt like i needed to really dig into the low cut white tee, since it's my #1 wardrobe staple. the one i am wearing in these pics, and that i wear most often in life, is by daftbird. its by far the lowest neckline i've found, and i've worn this one to death-----i love it in all its dingy state so much. you can buy this exact one here. i also love the novella royale muse tank (i love a simple vneck and mary makes a damn good one.) lna kills the white tee (and the stripe tee, and the ripped tee, i could go on.) and i also love brandy melville believe it or not-----in all their messy stacks you can find a damn good low cut tank. the trick is-----STRETCH that shit out!!! stretch the living daylights out of it. pull on it until you hear things that don't sound quite right, things are ripping, seams are coming apart a bit, let the little holes you create grow and customize that shit into the perfect bra showing super low neck tee. k?! hope this helps. that's all my secrets right thurr. xx

 oh, the pitfalls of buying sunglasses online....i was in love with these karen walker ditties and had to order them---i was so clouded by the excitement of receiving a package that i didn't realize i look like mrs. potato head in them: tiny sunglasses+giant head.

 if my bodycon dress post wasn't enough to convince you i'm losing my mind----get ready for this shocker dudes: pants. i know, i know---messing with your minds via the information superhighway. this is as close to color-blocking as it gets for me. with a 70's, boogie nights dirk diggler leisure suit vibe. i guess it's actually not considered color-blocking when it's the same color....whatever. i've really been on a burgundy bender this past few days....considering name change---rhonda burgundy. i am chock full of deep thoughts over here....maybe i should start posting in the morning instead of after work burnt toast brain. nahhhhhhhh....this isn't philosophical 'n boots after all. i mean i named this blog after a cat that wear boots and an eyepatch. how serious can i get?
