sooooooo if you're still checking my blog (hi grandma!) you might be wondering…..what the hell is ashley doing and why the hell doesn't she ever post?? i mean, i agree. i've been working so damn much but thats no excuse! i actually feel super sad that i haven't been blogging……as much as i feel like a tool when i'm getting my photo taken (which is all the time----the feeling like a tool part) and ESPECIALLY when a passerby sees the blogging in action (the most embarrassing)-----thats also no excuse! the moral of this story is that i am gonna try my hardest to give ye ole purse 'n boots some love, cause i been doin' this too long to just give up! zoey was also out of town for like 2 months so i blame her for my blahg neglect. cause lets be honest, if grossman wasn't behind the lens there wouldn't be a single cool picture of me. i hereby declare i am making an effort to update this bitch more often than once a month. wish me luck!

how distraught do i look in that last pic? that's how i feel right now this second. cause its monday. and monday sucks the big one. or the little one, whatever, you get the point! who decided that we should only have 2 days off and then work 5? how is that even?! i mean its different for everyone but ideally i would work 4 days and have 3 off. or never work again. that sounds real nice too. would i get bored? maybe? but i would get a muthafuckin' hobby and figure it out real quick. ok ok clothes. lets talk clothes. this is my ALL TIME favorite tee ever----i got it years ago-----its by a company called daftbird-----i have stretched it out to shit and basically my entire bra hangs out but isn't that the point?! other than that everything else is zara, yo. speaking of, i just drunkenly placed an order last night on a credit card. like i just charged that shit. deal with it later. will share my spoils soon! xx

just another muppet monday

so i have a deep love for giant faux fur jackets in every color------its like my strange addiction but i don't eat couch cushions, or sniff mothballs or anything. the worst part is i can really only get away with wearing my multicolored muppet jackets like 3 weeks out of the month cause its always so damn hot here! which is actually my least favorite part of living in california. does that make me a total weirdo? i like seasons! i like to dress layered and for it to be all cold and cozy out. sun ALL the time is ZZzzZzzzzZ boringggg to me! sorry for the complaining. its monday. what can you expect?! super grumpy party of one! i'm sure i'm not alone in this. i will write my next post friday, when I'm all positivity city! deal? xx

have you guys ever published a blog post and then the next day it totally dissapears? what the hell is up with that? that happened with this bad boy that i published yesterday. i dont care so much about resizing and uploading the pics, but the commentary?! jeeeeez it takes me forever to think of witty bits to say! well i do remember i was talking about how much i love this studded jacket, and how i haven't worn it yet, so i suffered for my craft and threw it on in the semi-sweltering heat cause i have grown bored with summer outfits already. and summer just started! woof! ok well i gotta go im sorry----heres hoping that when i hit publish, this guy sticks. k love you bye! x

flyaways, foliage, and fringe - oh my!

ok so the first item of discussion that i got a TON of questions about ever since this lookbook came out: "WHAT ARE THOSE SANDALS?!" i tried to respond to every last one of you fine folk, but just for the record, the sandals are from free people from a couple of years ago. but wipe those tears away my friends, they came out with an updated version that are equally amazing and equally challenging to put on. patience, grasshoppas! what else is happening......well we are currently cruising along on this glorious 3 day weekend, and besides a workout here and there, i have accomplished nothing. and i'm just fine with that. todays agenda? oh, nothing. i did just complete this blog post in which case today, i am accomplished. k love you bye!
