dear mystery audience. first of all, let me just say thanks so much for reading/looking/browsing/anonymously hating/briefly perusing/scoping. it's nice to know that i do this for more than just my friends, family, and dog (she's an avid reader). second, let me ask you something (no answer=no) do you guys like detail shots? like rings, bracelets, necklaces, bags....i always want to see close ups on people, but i never know what people want to see....so, take this as a virtual suggestion box. let me know. beauty post? hair post? closet/room post? take your blog to work day? your wish could be my command....im a genie in a botttttttle baby (oh yes, i said it)

iForgot my camera

i really did. forget my camera. like i do most days.....it's oh so delicate, and i'm always knocking it on things or scratching my screen somehow when i throw it (so tenderly) in my bag...so zoey decided instead of nothing we use my phone, and voila! aside from looking like i have a case of jaundice, not too bad! so, i'm not really into super high necks (and the higher they get, the worse---turtlenecks, sorry, no way) but since the hemline of this number ends at the bottom of my cheek, the modest neckline works. if i drop anything today, it's staying there. easy shift dress, my favorite dirty old waterworld boots, and the only piece of leopard print i own. meow.

weekend, why do your days go by so much faster than weekdays? you're a terrible tease. i figured i'd start off the week with a work outfit. that also doubles as a diy tom cruise costume....i guess this would be business on the top party on the bottom?! i always feel so professional when i wear a blazer---like i should be in the boardroom, doing mergers and acquisitions or something. i still wear them every so often---and feel ready for a power point meeting. i guess the fact that i'm wearing denim underwear as pants counteracts my career girl attire.

who let the dogs out

a much needed day off! my favorite kind of day---a long leisurely lunch, followed by a long walk with my favorite furry friend. the weather here has been insane, such a teaser for impending summer heat---and my impending summer tan. it's been awhile since i've done a crazy dog lady post....didn't want you to forget! i've been working on the railroad literally all the live long day---which explains my delay on updating----sorry....i feel so guilty for my neglect! on a side note, i think my dog was falling asleep in the last picture cause she was so bored with this. she looks bored as hell. here's to a not being as bored as my dog this weekend!
