come and knock on my door.....h&m was good to me yet again (my last score here), and bestowed this awesome shapeless muumuu (my middle name) upon me yesterday. i will be wearing this baby when i'm 90+ frying my tanned leather skin in the hot sun while drinking white wine spritzers in palm springs....where i will be living when i retire. excited for the weekend. and not just because i'll be drinking mimosas till the cows come home. i've got 2 hombres coming into town. they rule. you will love them. i promise. you will meet them soon. although, i have a feeling you might already know them. grandma is leaving the house! but taking her dress with her.

my hair is getting orange again. thinking of going red? one day you're good and dark, the next day, carrot top.  i can tell this is going to be short lived. think i'll go back to my og brown soon. maybe even throw in a bang. not sure you care, so i'm moving on. i love this cape. i feel like the girl in harry potter waiting for the train to whisk me off to wizard land.....and if i was a wizard i would wear this dress under my cape. i love a good dark green. like i love a good burgundy. this dress is never going to get made, isn't that sad? i feel like i have alot of rejected samples in my closet. does that mean i like rejects? castoffs and misfits? i sure do! rejects can totally take refuge in my closet. i will protect them.

snakes on a train

 these pretzels rule. covered in butter, dipped in jalapeno cheese sauce....i'm can't be alone on this one. this is a dipping in action shot. dipping and waiting, waiting and dipping.....

 walkin' to the train, waitin' for the train, standin' on the train...come on ride the train (you know you got your dance on to that one). i have lived here my whole life, and i have never been to union station. i realize i haven't been to many "monuments" in la.....i must take the place for granted! well here's a check off the list. a ride from downtown la to hollywood. half train/half bus. half the day. but a funtastic experience. wearing my favorite boots maybe in the history of my life. next stop, the hollywood sign? ...the observatory? one last thing. can we talk about the dragging fringe on my bag? i just realized how dirty that fringe must be.....yikes! i'm brooming up the city one step at a time.

dear opening ceremony, why do you torture me? here is a current list of things i am currently coveting, and would wear together. just like they are posted. dress+black sunglasses+navy nugget bag, black top+nude sequin bra+tortoise sunglasses+taupe bag. both = outfits that i need to win the lottery to buy. going to get a ticket tomorrow. i'm inspired.

this is really an alley post. so glamorous i know....but i live in the city! throw me a bone! sometimes i work all day and just can't provide a beautiful background! i need to make a rad backdrop with tapestries and fringe and feathers that i can wheel around with me so you guys don't have to deal with potholes and the valet guy...anyway i always love a good tribal sweater, but this esmeralda fortune teller number takes it to the next level for me. a no armhole blankety thing, you can just throw out your comforter and throw this goodness down in it's place.  lugging it around all day was such work it kept my heart rate up and kept me even warmer. kidding. and my stylestalker stalking continues. this cropped scorpion ditty was one of 4 pieces i bought from them. and one of the pieces is something i already have, in a different color. no restraint.

a double dose of dumpy trousers. can we just talk about the fact that captain morgan/zoey has the coat from the mike&chris lookbook that i have been lusting after for years?! she got in my car wearing it casually like oh, this? yeah, i have it. you may remember it from this post. that bi**h. i thought it didn't exist, and she's casually sporting it to lunch on a sunday. bitter. speaking of bitter tomorrow is valentines day! you lovahs, have some chocolate covered strawberries for me. champagne works too.
