rip recollection: volume 3

 

another installment of my walk down recollection memory lane...this was the last shoot we did (for summer '10). shot it at a friends furniture gallery. im still obsessssed with the shearling chair in the first pic, and the wood chaise she's kneeling on----yes please! natural light, totally mellow....super minimal and clean. not my usual excessive over-accessorizing. lettin' the clothes do the talkin'. the sad part about this lookbook is that none of these clothes were ever produced....travesty...but i bet you can guess who got a sample or 5! creative director: pj faulstick, styling: meee, photography: felicity byrne

vintage pics i took with one of my favorite people/bffs, felicity. think this was 2 years ago? not exactly sure but it was fun. just her and i (with long hair), some jams, and mimosas. mmm mimosas....sorry long day got sidetracked. oh yes, the clothes. it was a black and nude story. which i think goes together like fries and ketchup (or mayo in my case...sick i know). and there's that little harness friend again. sequins falling off as i write this...it was so hot that day. isn't it always supposed to be hot here? california- you're lying.

 pics from a shoot i did with felicity forever ago.....i don't really have much recollection of this day as a whole because of the combination of things we were ingesting.....but it made for some fun times! and sparse memories...thank god for the documentation otherwise the day could've never existed! i <3 felicity

parquet for a day

these are from a shoot that i did with felicity for an online mag called sloane. i don't think these made the cut, but the one above is the header for felicity's blog, which is way cool. we shot it at pj's house, i styled it, add a couple (or seven) mimosas, and you've got yourself a haphazard photoshoot. with a stylist filling in for a model. cause they asked for a "regular" girl. and apparently all of our friends were working.
